    This is the time of year when the larches turn gold and begin to lose their needles. Larch trees are generally found at high elevations (over 2000 metres). Today we hiked 22 km through scenery like this, near Lake Louise Alberta.

    Kind of biffed this one. But it's the best from that night. Shutter speed was way too long.. too much movement in the stars.
