Rick brought up some good points. Switching to the 1D MKII sounds like a sideways move at best and perhaps even a downgrade compared to your 7D. It doesn't sound like enough of a savings to make the switch and assume the risk of someone else's camera. It has a much higher acctuation rate than your 7D and I'm not sure how that camera is only 2 years old??


I think that your 7D will hold it's value longer.


Also, your EF-S and Digital Lenses won't work on the 1D MkII.


Try to hold onto your 7D if you can and I will always lend you some lenses. I'm serious!
