Renting 70-300 L this weekend

Per some web links it should mount ok. It may or may not autofocus and the image quality may or may not be acceptable, but I thought it was worth trying.

I was not impressed with the teleconverter. It was a Sigma 1.4x EX APO Tele Converter. The 60D / 70-300L combination would focus, but it was very slow and the resulting image of the eagle came out soft.

The best of the 70-300L pics came out quite a bit better than the best of the 55-250 during the car race. See the 100% view of stickers below for a comparison of what each was capable of.
