Save your money and buy the 50mm f/1.2 ...from what I hear it's superior in nearly every way except for the maximum aperture.

YES. The 1.2 is quite blissful. Since changing the focusing screen in my 5DmkII I love this lens even more.


For the price of the 1.0 you could easily own 50 1.2 and the 85 1.2.
