+1. I am a little late here. But I liked the cardinal (looks like the cover of a Christmas card) and the lighthouse series.

    Don. Nice shot. Very moody.

    Thanks guys!!

My dog just got home today from having surgery so it will be awhile before I get to go anywhere and shoot while he recuperates. For now, I'm going to have to shoot at backyard birds and squirrels through my bedroom window! The neighbors are going to think I am one wierd lady!

DD, I wouldn't mind seeing a black and white-ish version of the third lighthouse. I always think B/W when I see them.

Beautiful image Wally, he looks so peaceful. I wish I could sleep like that, I don't wear nappies anymore though, maybe that's it. LOL.
He looks very safe and secure and loved.

Love the shot Wally! Did you add the vignette in post? It really draws the attention into the shot.

Yes, lovely shot Wally! It truly brings out the emotion! You handled the post-processing perfectly, I love the B&W and the vignette.

Agreed. Great shot Wally. I am drawn both to your grandson's face both also the Mother's eyes.

The drama I was able to play out in NIK Silver was amazing!! All depending on how dramatic I wanted to go with the stormy look. My only problem is that because this was taken right at nightfall, my ISO is really high. So, the more I amplified the blacks or increased the structure for the clouds, the more the noise was emphasized! I really wish I didn't have my ISO set to AUTO on this one, which I didn't even realize at the time

This is the best I think I can get out of a B&W but I am going to keep playing around with it because I so much prefer the B&W effect (with less noise)!
