Hope I'm not too late to enter this four-second exposure of Bow Fiddle Rock

Nope, as a matter of fact I'm quickly going to enter something myself before January 10th is past

The night before Christmas children placed candles at each of the 1394 graves at the Canadian War Cemetery to commemorate the soldiers who fought for our freedom in World War II.

*sigh* I had many plans of heading out for some nighttime shooting, or even daytime shooting with a 10-stop ND filter. But wife and daughters are down with colds/flu, so I'm here at home...and I don't think anyone wants to see a 5 second exposure of mucus.

So...here's a submission from the archives, taken in Nanjing, China:

Similar to a few others, all the best laid plans and I didn't get out to shoot for this assignment.....but here are a two from the archives. The first is my entry:

Wow, there's some nice shots in here, my new tripod and A-S system hasn't arrived from the states yet (and even if it had, it's been cloudy for a week) so I didn't get out to take any sky shots (Mummy, is that a star or a dead pixel?).
Really wasn't happy with my first entry, and I don't particularly love this one, but it's got a definite 'abstract' quality to it with the ghosting of the guy versus the complete stillness of the girl. Taken by my Olympus u820 8MP P&S one winter a few years ago (2 years before my 7D), with some swedish kids I worked with for a few months in an Austrian ski-chalet. 3s exposure @ iso160 (about as noisy as my 7D at iso1600).

Thanks to Robert the finalists are selected very quickly and the poll is online now. Congratulations to all the finalists!

Seeking advice to convert this to 640 x 427. Looks tack sharp as a thumbnail though, so maybe I'll just leave it as is.

I took a screenshot of the process so you can look how I've done it. Good luck. If you can't get it to work, just PM me and I'll explain more detailed.
