@ Jan, I rarely does that around here, maybe once a winter. The fog gets very heavy and then it freezes to the trees. Winter has been far to mild here this year and there haven't been may opportunities to get the snow shots. Glad you like.

@ Steve, that first shot with the rays of the setting sun is post card material! Great capture!

I like it a lot Jayson. Winter has been very mild here as well. Unfortunately we don't really get snow at all. At most 4" in a good winter I just like the colors of winter. All white with beautiful fresh blue skies is the best there is
I took this shot a week ago. It was supposed to be cloud-free, but when I arrived to take some photos clouds appeared and I found out that the connector of my wired release was broken (also didn't know it that you can use the Bulb-mode with a wireless remote) There was a little town nearby and the street-lights reflected to the mild clouds:
