Lately I've been grabbing the CST just because of the random firing I was experiencing on the last couple of shoots where I tried to use the Cyber Commander. Otherwise, I use it quite a bit. The Cyber Commander really helps in a couple of ways:

1) Whenever I put a light up very high, it's a pain to bring it down to change the settings. Changing the power level from the camera is certainly ideal.

2) Metering the lights. The Cyber Commander can meter the lights independently or as a group. Both help me understand the best place to start when choosing my exposure variables (which I always set manually).

I don't always use the Cyber Commander, and I wouldn't even if I wasn't have the recent issues. If I have a simple setup, with the lights positioned close to me, it's really easy just to reach over and adjust the slider on the back of the mono. In all other instances, though, I prefer to use the Cyber Commander.
