    That bluebird is sharp. I would never guess that you had a teleconverter on the lens. Here's another Thrasher pic that I composed with the hand out of the frame.

    Well, it stopped raining for awhile today but still drab and gloomy but at least I got out in the backyard to take a few shots!

    Thanks Denise...I really like the plump female House Finch. What's the effect you used on the Chipping Sparrow? I don't usually like effects, but for some reason I really like that one.

    This week is typically one of the best times of the year here in south central Kentucky for birding and bird photography ... here is a just a fraction of what I saw in about 2 hours Sunday morning :

    Nice shots, Joel! It has been the same here this week! My yard is crazy busy with cardinals, wrens, finches, mourning doves, orioles, robins, chickadees, Brewer's blackbirds and now a hummingbird!
