What makes a great image is so much "in the eye of the beholder"

This image, to me, is one of your best because it is very sharp, perfectly exposed and the flower looks natural and not "over flashed" if you know what I mean. The colorful BG on the previous one wasn't a big problem for me but I like this one better.

Despite some weird criticism (on that "other site") I am still posting and trying to learn as much as possible
Actually, I generally find thier criticism and comments very useful "and accurate" but I get the impression that there are so many notable photographers that teach and coach the perfect shot--that most of the "perfect shots" look the same; then, the newby sees this and that is how they begin to judge thier own work and when they get good, they critique thier work and the work of others the same way----So now, all of the perfect shots look the same.

Yeah, I have seen those guys too---But I don't visit those sites anymore.

Thanks Pat---And I will. But I still have to listen to the other guys and gleen what I can from them----Then I'll throw in a little color just for spite.
