    thanks Joel for the compliment!, didn't really pay attention on this little bird, too many birds there, till it's plumage get up, sure looked more attractive even to me!

    I really like the picture of the Herring. With his mouth opened it's like he's saying, "Oh Sh$#".

    But in all seriousnous, the Snowy Egret is great. I remember trying to shoot these in Louisiana. They are tough to shoot and retain feather details against the dark green backgrounds. Great shot!
