Car show and sample 10-22 EF-s shots

Thanks for the feedback everyone- weather permitting I'll be at another show weekend of 23/24 I'll try and keep all the advice in mind. I'll post them up here as well

I just don't have much experience in post processing right now, each time I open lightroom my computer stops, so I have just used what's available in picassa.
I updated Digital Photo Profesional when I saw what Denise (ddt0725) had done with HDR.

I took many pictures -+1 exposure.. But without using tripod few aligned as nice as I'd like.

My first attempt using DPP for HDR

Neutral image

1/3200 sec
Aperture: 4.0
Focal Length: 13mm

combined images+1 -1 and neutral for HDR 'Vivid art' setting


I really like the picture, but the blurry area behind this Dormy bothers me.

Seen some amazing HDR shots think many combined 5 images, I'm limited to 3 pictures, would I see better HDR results using -2 and +2 exposures? or even more?

I already like the original, the HDR looks great.
Is the blurry area just out of DOF? Or maybe a combination of oof and not perfectly aligned?

was aligment issue, the three individual pictures grass looks to be in focus, was reading on forums can fake it with one image, so might try that see what I get

Went to another show yesterday. ESRA Summer Cruise 28
Took far fewer pictures, but still got some I was happy with.
Higher temperatures and sunshine brought more people cars were also seemed parked tighter.
Saw what I would call some photography teams (1 group of 3 people 2 photographers+1 carrying gear, 1 group of 2 with one carrying gear) at the event as well, perhaps this is common but first I've noticed. Would be nice to see what they came up with.. .anyway I digress here is what I captured. All hand held, no flash, T2i with 10-22 EF-S

I took my 24-105 with me as well , and did take a couple shots with it, but 90% of time people would walk into shot. So I am really liking this 10-22 allowing me to get closer and get more shots without people in the way.

Like the first two for sure. Good perspectives. The 60mm turned out sweet too. Glad you gave it another shot. The best tip for keeping people away is a good full-body twitched or two
