Here is some recent work of a little 6 month old girl. What a cutie eh?
All were done in my home with some DIY stuff and some purchased gear. The lighting on all was accomplished with two speedlights, one for the crown light was a single 430 ex at 1/64 power set to 24mm (stand was about 5-6 feet behind subject). The key light was a single 580 ex II at 1/2 power with 1/4 cto gel shot through a DIY 18 inch Beauty dish (light was about 20 inches from the subject).

This was probably the best behaved baby I have ever taken photo's of. Real pleasure.

Don't you think that the light from the flash reflected inthe childs eyes is a bit dominating? (could be called creepy, half expect laserbeams
to come shooting out)

These are absolutely beautiful photos of a very beautiful baby but I have to agree, the light in the babies eyes is very strong. It was never quite as strong with the beauty dish I had but my macro ring light produced the same strong catchlight.

I happened to see some objects falling from the sky and pulled over for a couple pictures. I was shooting into the sun, so most were in silhouette, but once processed I received a surprise. I added texture to make up for the blah blown out sky. Maybe a little over cooked.
