Come now Raid, that is a very broad brush you are generalising with there. Olympians have tattoos, parents celebrate and commemorate children with tattoos, lovers pledge eternally with tattoos. And models are fun to photograph with tattoos.

There were a lot of big old hairy bikers with tattoos at this bike show, but there were also teachers and scientists and nurses.

Nice shots here everyone, great skies and classic motorcycles.

I went to visit my old home in Northern Germany, and it seems all the rain that is missing here in the US is coming down there. Way more than needed. But the sun also did come through, and I was able to shoot a rainbow. I only had seconds to park, jump out of the car, and take a few shots before it disappeared:

If it had stayed for one more minute ... Maybe I should have run to it instead of taking pictures.

I just noticed that I should have spend a little more time to adjust my laptop monitor before publishing it, I did not remember the picture so dark.

Nice scene Brant really like the moonlit starry sky contrasting with the rich green of the trees, nice colour palate.
Good work with the rainbows Arnt, I've never had much luck capturing them. Has anyone ever seen the full circle where the rainbow is reflected on water forming an elongated circle with the reflection?

Arnt - That last one does look much better. Nicely done.

Brant - All three of them a really good. I like the rays extending out into the blue sky from the sun in the last one.

Steve - You have been on fire since getting your 5D III. One interesting subject after another. It is neat to see what is happening on the other side of the world.

Here are a couple taken from my Kayak yesterday. I thought the kayak would provide a different perspective of this lighthouse than what most people get. Besides, it saved me the hike out to it.

Pat, great idea with the kayak. Being so close to the slope of the swell adds a nice - I don't know how else to put it - calm drama, especially on the second one.

I agree... I like the low angle to the water that you get from a kayak, but the waves also makes it difficult to get a focus and hold the horrizon.
But it was a beautiful morning.
