    I don't know it it just me but I don't think those images are that sharp.
    I'm seeing very soft images.

    The lens is not really known for its sharpness. However, an aperture of f/1 is quite an anomaly in today's DSLR world. The paper-thin DOF is what fascinates people with this lens--it begs to be used for portraiture. And keep in mind, for most portraiture, razor sharp images are not exactly a requirement (in fact, razar sharp images can be detrimental to a portraiture business). :-)
