I'm feeling patriotic with the election coming up soon and thought I'd pass along a line of U.S. flags outside Grant's Home in Galena, IL.

Mark - I have been missing your rural / farm country sunsets, and this is real nice one.

Fall colors in my backyard are going away quickly now but it has been unusually beautiful this year. I took this with 1d4 and 500mm lens.

^^^^^^^^^^Love the processing, Joel. Ready for framing.

Thanks folks for the kind words on my sunset pics. It's been a great week for it, but it comes to an end tomorrow when the clocks go back. I may get some shots from the early part of my commute home, but the more scenic areas will be dark by the time I get there.

Sorry I haven't responded lately, but so many great shots and really good PS work, I just had to take the time to catch up on well deserved responses.

Denise, That fan is really cool. I am just now getting interested and learning how to mask in PS. I can't wait to try his kind artistic stuff.

The photo and colors are great, Joel. I don't think you could have found a better frame treatment for this shot---everything about it just works. Hang this one

Dave, Nice representation of the moment. Very nice depth of field as well.

Thanks, Bob! The fan is an action I installed in photoshop. All I do is click a button and it goes through all the steps for me while I just sit back and watch it take affect. I have a number of them installed so anytime you or anyone else wants me to walk you through installing one, just let me know. Sometimes, some of them may pause just to ask you to choose a color or open a photo but that's about it.

I hope to someday make my own actions as cool as the something like that fan. I just installed a snow globe action that is really nice too but I'll hold off on that one until the holidays get closer!
