Thanks, Joel. I had heard about Boundary Bay after last year's Snowy Owl irruption. This area got inundated with snowys, and the photos coming out of here were incredible. I kept tabs on the bird sighting reports, and found out that the owls were back again this year. The numbers are down, but it is still spectacular (up to 20 a day in the area). I sent an email to a local photographer, and he kindly responded right away with directions and tips. The bay is only 10 minutes drive from the hotel, so it's really easy to get to. And fortunately the weather has been great ---- it was raining sideways when I arrived but the last couple days have been brilliant.Originally Posted by Joel Eade
