    I concur. You are going to love that lens.


    My new 50mm f/1.4 came in today but I haven't been able to shoot because my camera equipment is at my girlfriend's house. I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms! Oddly enough, I could have had it yesterday but I didn't know it. UPS estimated the arrival date as the 15th, but it showed up on the 14th while I wasn't home. Would have been perfect for a nighttime portrait session I had last night. Instead, I used my trusty 17-55 f/2.8 IS (and they still turned out great, of course). ;-) One caveat about the 17-55 is that it'll have hard time focusing under low-light conditions with little contrast (that's challenging for many lenses, though, as I understand it).

The ALZO Digital Porta-Flash Mini Softbox was not used for this shot. All triggered via Cybersyncs.
