Congratulations Joel - super shot of a rare bird. The details in the dark feathers are very nice - any special post processing or was the flash-fill enough to bring these out? I think I've seen these in the woods once or twice - and always rapidly departing the scene.
Thanks Vern, I was extremely happy to get the image. I have been trying for a very long time. I did use a very light setting of Nik Color Efex Pro detail extractor to bring out some detail in the shadows but it did not need much help.
