Just got notice that my disability claim through the VA got approved and I'll be getting about $6k of backpay. Going to be a big upgrade from my T3i.

for what it is worth - I did the same, if you can swing the 24-70 I think you would like the image quality better. At least my version of the 14-105 is not in the same league

Sorry to hear that you have anything going on warranting a disability claim....but congrats. The biggest upgrade is low light/high iso ability. I bet you enjoy that with your concert photography.

The 24-70 isn't an option right now, I can't just spend it all on camera stuff now :P

And Brant, it's nothing too bad, just bad enough that they saw fit to pay me for it. I'm still fully capable of living a normal life. Lower back, neck, and tinnitus. That's it.
