Very nice photos everyone. I am still processing from my trip to the Palouse area of Idaho, but I'll submit this one for the landscape. A thunderstorm woke me up at about 4 am. Still being 3 time zones ahead, it felt like 7 am. So I headed out to see if I could get some lightning.

I find it difficult to compete in the portrait category in these contests. I do not have the lighting or ability to compete with the likes of Sean and others. So I had to pull out the big guns... and amp up the cuteness factor to help even out the competition. I hope this shameless attempt to bias the results works...
