    Binoculars?

I have been shopping for binoculars and was curious what you all have. What you like, etc.? I have had mine for 20 years and alot has changed since then. I will say on my old pair the part where my eyes are, there is long rubber (cup?) that helps cover my eyes in the bright light, this helps me alot, because my eyes are sensitive. I do not see this on the new binoculars, I wonder if is somehting that I could add on?thank you

I have a pair of Leupold....10X50 I think.....they are very nice, bright and sharp. Well made and not terribly expensive. Optics will not be quite as spectacular as Swarovski or Leica but considering the price they are great.

I just "ordered" a pair of Canon 10x30 IS binoculars (lots of rewards points on a catalog with very little that interests me, so they were free). Will they be the gateway to the 10x42L IS WP set?

I have a pair of Canon 10 x 30 IS. Bought them for the NBA finals last year and they worked great. The IS is a big benefit IMO.
