Last weekend I went on a boat-trip along Göta Canal. It was quite an interesting tour and it was fascinating to climb uphill and go downhill in a boat. Of course I brought the camera.
Some fellow pasengers in the lower left corner. The granddad told his son & grandson lots of interesting stories about the canal and I listened too.

Here we're coming in for the finish with a series of locks down to the lake. I believe the height difference is approximately 19 meters over a rather short distance (seven locks in a row).
