I'll always use a tripod when I'm serious about getting a quality picture. So most of the landscapes are done with tripod, and of course for those long exposure ones. The 17-85 is certainly more of a capable lens than most people think, it does not fit my need any more is because I shoot indoor and in dark environment very often, so I need something faster.


I always keep PS to minimum, I normally add a little bit saturation (The color Canon camera produces responds to it well), sometime I will crop a bit if needed, and adjust slightly on exposure and contrast, that's pretty much it; nothing serious. So basically the photos you see are very close to the original ones.


The 70-200/4L IS deserves a lof of love!
