<span style="font-size: 10pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;"]If you are shooting a portrait set your XS to Partial metering (approx. 10% of viewfinder at center), walk up so you can mostly fill the frame with the subjects face without blocking the light. Meter in manual then back up and shoot. <o></o>
