Mark...nice series. I particularly like the first.
Here are a few from a recent visit to Parker River NWR....

Nice shots, Brant. The sunset ones are particularly well done. Were you using a filter?

Hi Mark,
Thanks. I didn't use a filter and this was a single exposure. I checked the exposure of the sky and ground and picked an exposure in the middle. I then brought up shadows just a little and brought highlights down. I've edited the post to include my settings.

The castle shot above was taken with the 5D MkIII. 5 shot bracketed HDR.

Mark....I need to work on my HDR technique. Nothing I have done looks as good as that castle. I have 10 more days to get something entered in the current assignment.
A few from this past weekend. This is probably one of the more popular waterfalls in the White Mountains due to its proximity to North Conway, but I had never been there before. My mistake. Diana's Bath is actually a pretty nice series of waterfalls.

Nice waterfall shots, Brant. I spent nearly every summer of my youth in North Conway and never heard for Diana's Bath either. We were usually up at Lower Falls on the Kancamagus or Sabbaday Falls (when you could swim there).
I use SNS-HDR Lite for my HDR work. It's simple and seems to outperform Photoshop and Photomatix Pro, at least in my experience. A little bit of tweaking back in Photoshop and I'm done.

Working forge at Chiltern Open Air Museum
Again, a 5 shot bracketed HDR using the 6D and the always awesome 24-105 lens.

That is really neat shot Mark. Nice HDR processing.

Thanks, Pat. SNS-HDR Lite does a great job with bracketed shots.
Is that really your front yard? You must spend every weekend mowing the grass. Beautiful piece of land, though.
