I wasn't taking photos, but on the 12th I was on an overnight flight from Seattle to Iceland, so the route was very far north. Looking out the window was absolutely surreal. The entire horizon dancing with lights. That was the first time I have actually had the opportunity to see the northern lights, and it was awesome!
