this is little smithy, I used a small handmade reflector to take the sunset color and make the warm glow on him

Not much action here in a long time! I bought a used Tamron 90 VC recently and wanted to take some photos. I didn't expect much, but came across a few I liked.

The bee and flower together turned out great. A lot of DOF at f/16, and yet the background is far enough away to make the subject really stand out. Well thought out composition.

LOL, the bee flies around frantically and I just hoped some would be in focus. Getting the pose right was 100% luck.

LOL - I was chasing an emerald bee around a crepe myrtle with an extension tube and my 70-200 2.8.....My wife giggled and shook her head
Chasing a butterfly to catch it with the wings open with a similar rig on our sidewalk.... My wife laughed out loud enough for the neighbors to take notice.

Bee in flight shots are always hard. This is from the same morning as the other one.

I'm not a bee nut or anything, but I take advantage of what is there
