an attempt at hdr using enfuse plugin in lightroom. i used 3 images with one exposed for the shy , one for the field and one for the trees. i cant figure out how to show the correct exposure for the trees which sucks cause they had some real nice colors in them. it still turned out ok i think.

This is the website for the photographer that hosted the workshop:

    http://michaelbartonart.com/

He's based out of Batavia, IL (near Chicago). This particular workshop was called "Terrible Twos". He brought in 4 two year olds throughout the day (one at a time) and basically we would watch him at work and then we would have an opportunity to photograph as well and he would give tips, etc. It was great for me to help build some confidence to do these sorts of shoots on my own and also to see a pro at work.

Some interiors from Bamburgh Castle. Mostly 5 shot brackets. Hand held.

Love the castle interiors Mark. Really nice toning on the HDR...not getting into the weird unreal looking stuff.

As if I haven't posted enough lately...here are some maternity shots of my wife I took a few days ago. Have I expressed how much I love shooting at 1.4 yet?

Sam --- those are great. The subject and the backgrounds are excellent. The vignetting adds a nice touch. Congratulations on your Great Expectations too!

Nice shots, Sam. I need to use my Sigma 50 more often. I used it for some interiors over in the UK, but neglected to adjust for the thin DOF. I have beautifully detailed shots of just the very front of a lamp and then lots of nice bokeh. LOL

Brant, that shot of Niagara Falls is just beautiful!

Here are a couple from this summer in and around Seattle:

And then about twice a year I try to make a tongue-in-cheek photo of my dog and me to be my Facebook profile picture, so here is what I came up with this time:

I didn't technically take the shot, but I picked the location and time of day, framed the shot, set up the camera settings, and then had my friend act as a tripod/triggering system
