    For a summary, you can look at post #58 in this thread. Half the issues where with the clicking while zooming issue. Which is too bad, as I tested a couple of those lenses and they were optically excellent.

    I have never found reason to have issue with another Canon product. Overall, I am very happy with their quality. And I am really enjoying the 24-70II.

    Brilliant...a 55 mm f/1.4 lens.....or....a 330 mm f/11.....

    I think you are covered......

    But, get it in a Nikon mount......it'll have better low ISO noise.
