    "Stairway to Heaven"

My last shot of the night as I was leaving...decided to get a photo of the stairs on the dam. Caught my one of two meteors from the shower.

This guy’s been hanging on to my kitchen window all day. I thought maybe he(?) wanted a portrait so I took out the macro lens. I think it turned out quite well.

From an Old Engine Show yesterday. They were plowing up a field. More in the "Post your best current shots" thread.

Stuart Edwards' "Old School Fun" wins this week. Nothing technically impressive about it, and not a pretty landscape to adorn your walls, but a feel-good shot.

It's been a while since a mud fight sounded like a good idea, and this image brings that feeling back. The girls in the background who don't want to be part of a mud fight, but can't resist wet, squishy, muddy feet, is a nice touch too. The whole thing just makes me smile.

Brant's Rocking Gondola's shot is interesting and artistic. It would make for a nice jigsaw puzzle. The repeated blue boats, and repeated blurry white prows, repeating shadows, smooth gradiented sky. A nice tricky puzzle for sure. Sean's Star Trails Over Tybee Island Pier would make for a good jigsaw too.
