I think you are correct, but I did not use it. I usually don't use long exposure NR for a couple of reasons, but mostly because I am too impatient to wait the extra 30 seconds for the shot to be done.Pretty sad... but more true than I care to admit. I would also like to have control of noise reduction, and don't like to rely on the camera for that.
