Starting late August each year, a GBH roosts in this spot most evenings for about a month. This shot is from the closest possible approach, but still a long reach.

5D MKIV Bird images
Not too much activity at my feeders this time of year but I did spend an hour or so to get some 5DMKIV images to share.
I am posting the full frame un-processed image followed by the final processed image.
These were shot using the Canon 500mmL IS USM @ ISO 3200 on a cloudy day.
I purposely set up a little farther than usual to test the 30 mp sensor for crop-ability.
I will post a few more soon....I think this camera performs exceedingly well.

Beautiful shot.
Test shots with 5DS R this afternoon, not really great light (a bit too overcast)
This was taken from a distance of at least 75 yards with the 500mm f/4L + 2X TC hand held
The first image is full frame and the second is a crop from the first.
How is the high ISO when comparing the 2 Joel ?
