I took my 1D X in person to the Jamesburg, NJ service center for the shutter recall. I figured I'd drop it off and they'd ship it back to me in Boston, but they fixed it on the spot in under an hour, and cleaned the sensor, too.

Nothing much to look at, though...a couple of pictures on the wall of an otherwise plain, generic waiting area.
