Yep. I am sitting in McCall, Idaho and will be heading ~30 miles south in the morning. Forecast is sunny and cool.
Looking forward to it.

Good luck everyone. Looking forward to some photos.
I'm waiting for April 8, 2024, when the Eclipse will come to me (and many of you).

We had a perfect day in Idaho. I was on the centerline, north of Idaho Falls. Even though this was my third successful eclipse (out of 4 attempts), I was still completely blown away. I can't think of any other spectacle in nature that even comes close to this. Photos can never do justice to the sight you experience in person, but I decided to give this a try. With the 100-400 lens I fired bursts in a 7-shot bracket, adjusting the exposure up and down during totality to cover as wide a range as possible. This one is ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/30 sec.

Yes David, I'm waiting for that one as well. It passes through much of Newfoundland, so I'm definitely going to stake out a spot.
Hopefully there was clear skies for most people who went out for this one. I'll be reading on everyone's experience for 7 years worth of prep time to my best opportunity
Awesome shot Jonathan! Maybe you can come to my neck of the woods for 2024...
I shot these hand held with just a polarizer on my lense

Totality was much more than I was expecting. I had a plan, but it went by so fast. Here are a few I shot during totality. With my Sigma 150-600S with 1.4TC.

Thanks for viewing....Brant
I was a few miles south of Bowling Green Ky. There were some very light clouds and haze which made focusing difficult but was amazing when the sky darkened, stars became visible and all the birds became silent.
