These pictures are from the Ampitheater Lake Trail in the Tetons. The first shot is a view on the way up, the next are two different directions from the highest point, near the campsite on the trail.
The hike starts about 6700 feet (bottom of the valley in the second shot)and climbs to 9700 feet over 5 miles . I was huffing and puffing!
