    Very nice, John.

I like the composition and the lighting, and the background green-grey works well with the other colors in the picture.

Is this photo under-exposed? Please help.

    Thanks,

    Dev

    Two of my favorites:

    40D, 50/1.8, Manual at f/2.8, ISO 400, 1/60th, triggering two 580EX IIs, both with shoot-through umbrellas.

1D Mark III, 24-105/4IS at 58mm, Av at -2EC, f/4, ISO 800, 1/60th, triggering two 580EX IIs. The "A" flash was camera left and up high on a stand, with a 1/2 CTO gel and a Honl Shorty Snoot. The "B" flash was also camera left, about a foot lower and a foot closer than the A, with a 1/4 CTO gel and a Rosco 103 "Tough Spun" gel as a poor man's diffuser. Biggest mistake was not getting a stand-in to check lighting ahead of time - I wish I'd brought the B flash up somewhat.

We're a Canon/Profoto family: five cameras, sixteen lenses, fifteen Profoto lights, too many modifiers.

Both very nice, peety3, and your descriptions of how you got the nice lighting are appreciated.

I think it's interesting that for the first pic your flashes cost 10x as much as the lens

Very nice, Garret and clemmb. Both of your pictures use color very effectively to capture (very different) moods.
