Thank you all for the nice comments.

A lot of my waterfall shots are pretty washed out because I did not get to a lot of them unit late morning or mid-day (there were other things I wanted to shot at sunrise and sunset). I only had a few days to get pictures before it started pouring rain out - that kind of ended things early for me this year. I do not mind rain... in fact, I kind of prefer a light rain or heavy overcast for the waterfalls, but this was to much.

Not the greatest foreground, but kind of a neat rainbow.

Wow, nice rainbow. It's weird how the colours are different in, out, and between the rainbows (i noticed on a shot I took a while ago, thought my camera was being weird).

Meanwhile, I went for a walk yesterday, and this girl was just behind a tree about 3m from the path (these are uncropped 300mm and 207mm, 7D shots).
I've never seen a wild roo this close up before, normally they just run away (she had a huge joey in her pouch so probably couldn't jump).
(Domesticated roos don't count, that one I rode to school every day wasn't exactly 'wild').

I never noticed that. The color layering on the outer rainbow is inversed of the inner bow.

Cool shot. That looks like a rather large hitch-hicker she has there in the pouch.

WOW!! I haven't looked at this thread in awhile ...beautiful landscape shots!!

I went "deer hunting" this morning and there were plenty of deer just begging for their photo to be taken!

Great shots Denise! Looks like there's plenty of wildlife there and you've captured it well
