Rocco - loving the new setup, superb shots mate.

We're well and truly into our world tour now, currently in New York before heading across to France. Had a couple of sneaky beers today and a brilliant little pub called McSorley's Old Ale House. This is Pepe and he pretty much epitomises New York for me, really lovely guy and he was nice enough to allow me to take his photo before we left the pub. Anyway, click the photo and read the flickr description for a bit more info.

Lighting is natural from the front window of the pub, it has been an overcast day so the light was nice and soft. I'm really enjoying the 35L, such a versatile little lens.

    Take care everyone.
    Ben

Nice to hear from you again, Ben! Great shot ...nice composition and tones! Really captures the overall atmosphere of the joint!

I did two processing on this shot of my son and grandson, one with blue and another with a brownish warm toned background. I think I prefer the blue ...

    Awesome bar shot Ben.

I did check out your other image Denise, and I think you chose the right one. The skintones just blend right into the background on the other one.

Here's one of Bella enjoying a walk on our first warmish day of the year.

Wow I just love this thread. Everything here is way out of my league, but I really enjoying seeing what creative people can accomplish.

I really like that shot Rocco! Looks like just one light used, is that right? Was there a reflector or anything else used for fill?
