Brant - It looks like a lot of people are enjoying the ice. Nice shots.

Nice shots Jonathan...
Yep...a picture from a few years ago....
First Edit: I had deleted the photo from Flickr...I didn't realize it would be deleted here.
Second Edit: Based on Jonathan's comment, I added the winter shot for direct comparison...thanks for the thought...

I love the B&W treatment, Steve! I thought of using somethng like that on a few photos myself but thought others may find it too over the edge. I love how you don't hold back, you always make it work every time!!
This afternoon, I continued testing out the 2x extender on the 70-200. Trying to get some good bald eagle pictures - but they were not being too cooperative today, even though there were 15 or so of them. They were out numbered by the 200+ Canada geese, so ended up doing most of my tests on geese! Thanks for looking.

Brant - That's very cool, seeing the same scene in different seasons. That would be a good challenge for me to try: replicating the exact image at a different time of year and then displaying both shots side by side.
Steve I like the colour shot the most, probably because you nailed it so well with perfect sharpness and bokeh. Nicely done.
