Thanks! There are two used. I had my 64" PLM with diffusion cloth set up for fill. I don't remember ratios or anything, but there wasn't much coming out of it. Main light had the white 22" beauty dish.

Thanks Denise and David! It was such a fun shot to get. Ended with a hangover though which was less favourable.

LOL. One of the lesser known side effects of photography.

Ha! In my experience, the stories worth telling end with hangovers. Great shot!

    Self Portrait

So the other day I saw this awesome B&W portrait by the celebrity photographer, Greg Gorman. It looked so simple I just had to try something like it. I added my own little flare to it and came up with this:

Here is one I took of my son for his 2nd birthday. Right now he is big into trains so my wife dressed him up like a train conductor.

I do not usually comment on portrats because what do I know other than what I like, but that is a cute picture. And I like that you did not remove the scratch between his eyes... it gives him the tough little boy look.

I like it!! Finally, someone takes a portrait on the tracks with a model who looks the part. The outfit is what makes this work so incredibly well, IMO.
