Love the waterfalls. Any filters used for the shots? ND/CPL, etc?

Brant --- fantastic waterfall series! I'm having a hard time deciding on my favourite, but I think I have to go with #3, for the balanced composition and great detail.

    Brant,
Really like 3439 on your flickr stream, would like to see a version w/ a tighter crop to the top/bottom of the waterfall and cutting out the bolder on the bottom.

    Fantastic pic.

Hey thanks everyone. I am very happy you like the series. It was a lot of fun to shoot.

Eric....I used a B+W 10 stop ND filter. My 6 stop would have been better suited for the amount of light we had, but I was with a friend and they were using the 6 stop filter.

Mike....just to avoid seeing you with a wrench....did you mean something like this?

Thanks Brant. My kids are going to 'surprise' me with B+W 3 and 6 stop ND filters plus a CPL tomorrow. Somehow they knew the perfect gift to get me . Shots as good as these are getting me excited. It might be a while before I get to falls like these, but now I'll be ready.

Eric...great kids... I probably use my 6-stop more than any other filter. I can AF/AE through it and can even use it in the direct sun by stopping down (typically f/16 - f/22) or shortening my exposure times.

    Enjoy and Happy Father's Day!

Just finished a waterfall trip to Pennsylvania. We did Ricketts Glen State Park on Saturday and the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area on Sunday. I haven't yet processed any of the shots from the Delaware Water Gap. I was shooting both in great weather, not a cloud in the sky, which made for some difficult shooting conditions. But here are some of my favorites from Ricketts Glen:

    Adams Falls:

    Tuscarora Falls:

    Sheldon Reynolds Falls:

    Ozone Falls:

    Shawnee Falls:

Sullivan Falls (near Ricketts Glen, but not actually in the park)

    Thanks for viewing....Brant
