But as Rich put in a request I have a few pretty ones as well.
This one nearly made it to the nature thread.

How the heck do they walk in those things... and why would you want to?
    I'd break an ankle.

Steve it is hard to compete with your wildlife shots... but I'll use the excuse that there aren't many zombies in our neck of the woods (other than me, before I have my coffee).

We've had some nice snowfall lately, giving hope for an early start to the ski season. For me, it meant a good excuse to head out for a cruise. On the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff, I came across this friendly bull elk, who was kind enough to strike a pose.

I continued on to hike through Johnston's Canyon in the park. This place is normally jammed with people in the summertime, so I avoid it like the plague. Today, it was totally empty and about as pretty as can be.

Just one more.... a shot of the Banff Springs hotel:

    Thanks for viewing!

@ Steve....I am not sure what I find odder, Zombies texting or drinking slurpies?!

@Pat...be thankful...gives the rest of us a better chance to run away....

@Jonathan....each one is spectacular. I think #1 is my favorite, love the color of the elk against the snow, but I am a sucker for waterfalls....all are excellent.
