Guys, please remember to always include stats for your shots. Camera body, lens, focal length, f/stop, shutter speed, ISO, etc.

Liamisnowon,
I think you have taken some fantastic shots. I'd like to know the technical particulars, but I don't really have anything critical. Excellent work.
kzuk9237,
First shot of the girl: very sharp, good lighting. Very nice catch light in the eyes, but unfortunate that the glasses frame is covering her right eye.
Yes, all of the shots that I posted are natural lighting...including the bw's...the one b&w was honestly a surprise. It was dark...not great lighting, but I was able to catch the person in the forefront as he was talking to someone else real quick as some light through a window hit him...then when I opened up the image, the other person was in the background, I didn't even realize it when I took the shot....then some processing with Lightroom, and turned out to be a photo that carries lots of emotion...

Recent favorite. A quick snapshot up in Moraine State Park.
I believe I used the channel mixer in PS to convert to B/W. Added the stain with a "grunge" brush from Free Brush Portfolio. Also added the vignette and the noise in Photoshop.

one of few, my favorite... like to hear what you have to say
i just edited white balance and sharpen, that is it..
canon 1000d
18-55 IS
Iso 800
1/60
f5.6
Good subject
Maybe a little more background blur but i'm assuming you were at 55mm cause of f/5.6. Good shot though.
Welcome to the forums!
