As usual, beautiful shots, but I cannot believe you have flowers blooming already. I am only about 70-80 miles away (and a lake) from where you live and there are no signs of life anywhere yet. Even after getting close to 60 degrees yesterday we still have snow on the ground (although, after today I think it will be gone again).

Thanks for sharing spring... I think I will only be able to experience spring vicariously for awhile.

I like your rural shots. They look a lot like where I live, and I really like the farm country.

Thanks very much. It was a great day for Street Photography on Saturday in Birmingham.

    Ham...both are very nicely done.
    Thanks, I appreciate it.

And thank you too! Did you look through the whole set? Don't blame you if you didnt... I have quality control issues, I can pick my favourites, and the duds, but I can't differentiate between the middle-ground-stuff and it all ends up getting included.

Thanks. And like the EXIF says, it was my trusty 24-105. Love that lens. I also discovered the grid overlay for my 7D viewfinder. That really helps with composition.

Nice shots, D. Nothing blooming here yet, although the daffodils are coming up.

    Great series, Ham.

Very cool shot, MGB. Flash on camera or remote?

Extremely windy day today!! I wanted to get some slow shutter speed shots of the waves crashing against the rocks and lighthouse but it was extremely difficult to keep anything steady. When an even stronger gust came along, many times I thought my tripod, gear and myself were going to get tossed right in! Pretty scary moments!

One I was able to walk away with ...

I'm a bit jealous...we're definately not through with winter yet! I took these earlier today driving home from a work trip:

I decided to create a flickr account and start posting pictures from there...I wasn't pleased with how the last few pictures I uploaded directly to this site turned out. I'm not sure if it was the resizing or something else, but hopefully using a flickr account will improve things.

    Thanks for looking!

I'm jealous as well. Wish we'd have a winter like that over here. It looks very nice where you live Great shots.

We had a great day for shooting, lots of interesting light because the sun was bright but kept dipping in and out of the clouds. What's good for creativity is a nightmare for the camera trying to meter everything though!.

Thanks. There's more coming day by day as I work through what I've got.
