@w349 - Beautiful shot, just the perfect amount of warm tones without it being overly done! Her parents are going to love it!

I wouldn't want to say that I bought an EF 85/1.8 just to take photos of my missus' sister's dog
    ...
so I just won't say anything at all...

#2 would have been my favourite shot ever if it weren't for the unfortunate position of the speaker in the background...
An awful lot of electrons were terribly inconvenienced in the making of this post.

Didn't even notice it, the eye and tongue and cute pose held my attention. Nice.

Dr Croubie - very cute pup. And as for justification on buying a lens. I can think of none finer.

@ Dr. C - What a beautiful pooch! Is it a long-haired Chihuahua? I've been practicing alot in removing unwanted backgrounds and I'm sure it can be done in PS with photo #2.

Here is a photo I took today of my Sammy. One week after bladder surgery & he is feeling alittle better every day and getting back to his old sassy self!

Denise, This is a great shot of Sammy, But you are seriously compromising his alpha male status by dressing him up like this. Please don't show the other dogs---he could be emotionally damaged for life.
