Thanks Steve. I think the shot is definitely useable. To my eyes the noise is relatively low (amazing for iso 6400), while the focus is off just a bit (or maybe camera shake at 1/40s?).

Makes a 7D shooter jealous, that's for sure.

What an incredible flower, those subtle changes of colour are beautiful.
Another one from me hanging around the church.

Calgary's new Peace Bridge is a pedestrian crossing designed by Santiago Calatrava, and it's been open for just a couple weeks now.

Wow, that's without a doubt the best looking flower I've ever seen. Great shot!

You should do that more often. It pays off. Really cool shot, I like the perspective. Do I see a little bit of HDR influence there?

@Jonathan, great shot. I like the moving cyclists and the setting sun. That bridge looks like a great photo-opportunity or location for shoots.

@Mark, I wish we had some more water here, it looks really good.

    Great shots everyone!

This time of your Holland Michigan is covered with Tulips. So I took a short drive to check it out.
    7D, 100mm L at f/2.8 and 1/80 sec.

My first attempt at "Black Glass" photography. This is 3 stacked filters giving me an 11-stop decrease. ISO 100, f22, 30 secs.
