Went out to collect lizards last weekend with one of my collaborators. I only took my loaner 180mm macro. I still believe the 300mm f4L IS is the "Lizard King", but the 180 macro is really nice if you can pose stuff.

I haven't looked at this thread in awhile ...very, very nice shots everyone!
I won't post this in best of the birds thread because IMO it needs alot of improving and hopefully as the season goes on, they will only get better! I was walking through my bedroom and caught a glimpse of this little guy through my window and I just had to hurry and grab the camera so no time for set-up on this one!

Looks like a painting, well done.
Nice reptiles and like the really wide harvester.

Cool shot Mark.....I actually like the slight silhouette. Makes the shot look very ominous. One thought for the future, but, it would be even a little better in my mind if the ends weren't clipped. But I really do like the shot. Well executed concept.
Thanks. Yeah, I'm a little disappointed in myself for missing the framing like that. I thought I had the whole thing in the image. The farmer and the tech from the manufacturer were waiting to make a test run, so I had time for just one shot before I needed to get out of the way. Still, I was confident I had the whole thing and only saw later that I had clipped the left side.

A picture of my beloved, on a quick break to Melbourne. It's hard to take a shot of your wife that she is happy with.
We tell them them, but they refuse to listen.
