    Great shots everyone!

I went Skiing in Keystone, Colorado a couple of weeks ago. Here's a shot that I took walking around.

    1D MK IV: EF 24-70mm f/2.8L @70mm f/7.1 1/640s - 0.67ev ISO 100 Handheld

    C&C Welcome!

The Sunrise photos below were taken on 12/22/10 out my Living Room Window. I live at Sea Level (0 ft).

The Summit at Keystone, Colorado (photos above were taken at the base) is at 12,450 ft.

Needless to say it wasn't easy breathing at the Summit, when I'm used to Sea Level. All of the photos were taken with the same Camera and Lens!

What a contrast from Sea Level to the Mountains...., huh!

    1D MK IV: EF-24-70mm @67mm f/22 1/25sec 0ev ISO 100 Tripod

    1D MK IV: EF-24-70mm f/2.8L @ 70mm f/22 1/160sec 0ev ISO 100 Tripod (Lens Flare)

    MK IV: 24-70mm @70mm f/11 1/1000sec 0ev ISO 100 Tripod

They all look better in the lightbox on Flickr.

Yep, Rich, there is definitely a lot of contrast between the blank white background and the dithered black words of "This photo is currently unavailable." [:P]

The links all point to the sunrise series (unless there's an ocean shoreline somewhere in Colorado?).

    Can you see me now?

There should be 1 Mountain picture and 3 Sunrise shots on this page.

Funny thing is that they were all showing up on my screen.

OK, next time I'm definitely taking off the lens cap!

    Thanks,

    Rich

My guess is that you may have done some editing on the pictures and replaced the originals you uploaded on flickr. Everytime you replace an image, it is assigned a new unique name and url and therefore will break any links made to the original image. You have to edit your original post and replace the older embedded pic code with the new code. Clicking on the blank pictures above will take you to the image's dedicated page (as that link doesn't change), but the name of the actual image reference does indeed change once it is replaced with a newer version.

Thanks Sean! That's exactly what I did since they looked good on my screen and then dark after posting them.

I suppose that you don't see the little green men landing on the beach either!

I think the Pro level Flickr account allows you to replace an image, but you have to do it by selecting Replace this Photo from the Actions menu and uploading the edited image through that dialog box, rather than simply deleting the old version and uploiading a new one. IIRC, that leaves the original links intact.
