By the way I loved catching up with all the posts from the last week. Some amazing baby & bird shots! And Ben, welcome to Canada!

Jonathan, some incredible shots there - that would have been an amazing experience. I've just returned from Victoria on Vancouver Island and they have the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition on display at the Royal BC Museum (it's on loan from the Natural History Museum, London) and some of the shots are breathtaking.
We went out on a zodiac yesterday and cruised around with the Orcas, it was completely surreal. They are an amazing creature. Here's a quick one I processed this afternoon.

Ben - That looks like fun. That is something my wife has always wanted to do.
Here is one from the weekend. Got up at 4:30 AM to go get this waterfall at sunrise to add a little color because all the winter shots around here turn out black and white even in full color. However, I ended up getting stuck, and I missed a beautiful sunrise. So all my shots turned out colorless, but this is such a beautiful waterfall that it does not matter to much.

Lovely Pat. That kind of scenery is so foreign to me, I can't wait to get stuck into it a bit more over the next couple of months.

Great pair of waterfall shots, Pat.... I love them both, and maybe the second one the most because of the composition. I guess I'm a sucker for waterfalls in general, but this one I just keep looking at and enjoying every little element.

+10 one everyones comments, great exposure control on the snow and "slow" water Pat, very compelling B&W.
And Jonathan I think you are giving Mr. Marriot a run with your wildlife captures. Very good standard, well done to both of you.
